Steven C. Pembrook, CPA

is a principal of Scheffel & Company, P.C. in our Alton office delivering accounting, auditing, consulting, and tax services that help our privately held business clients achieve their goals. He has particular expertise in the construction, financial institution, manufacturing, and retail industries. In addition, Steve offers over 25 years of experience in all phases of the audit process for numerous government and non-profit organizations. Steve is a member of our accounting and auditing team, which implements and maintains our firm’s standards and practices to ensure that our clients remain in compliance with new accounting and auditing pronouncements. Steve has served as President of the Illinois CPA Society Southern Chapter. He has been a strong supporter of and volunteer for the United Way and other related organizations.
